Depending upon readiness and the situation, we offer a wide range of funding options for congregations.

All of our appeal structures are aimed at spiritual growth and challenge God's people to grow and give joyfully. Whatever your situation, Cornerstone offers a solution.

Annual Stewardship Appeal

Cornerstone Stewardship Ministry's approach to annual stewardship appeals is gospel based. Members grow in their understanding and participation of offerings, worship, Lord's Supper, and Bible study. Rather than concentrating on needs and budgets, Cornerstone focuses on leading members in discovering the heart-felt joy in giving. We offer several Bible-based appeals for these 4 - 6 week programs.

Capital Campaign

This funding option strengthens leadership, gives momentum to a project, inspires members and results in joyful giving. When a congregation engages with God in an act of true stewardship, all
of God's people are involved and each member has the opportunity to commit and grow spiritually. A large sum of money is raised, but the final product has a tremendous effect upon God's people. Cornerstone has developed three effective funding processes that congregations may choose from: Gatherings; Stewardship Emphasis; Counselor. Each capital appeal has unique features for your congregation and challenges God's people to grow in the grace of giving.

Crisis Funding

At times, ministries find themselves in situations where funds are needed immediately. Cornerstone's trained staff will take the lead in assisting congregational leaders in securing gifts from members of your church. Cornerstone will mentor staff and leaders to make one-on-one visits to prospects and donors. Sometimes, Cornerstone staff is brought on board to serve as temporary development staff. The program focuses on the mission of the church and creates time for the development of ministry plans rather than being pressed by financial constraints.

Endowment and Estate Planning Campaign

This option makes use of the largest gifts available to non-profits—planned gifts. Cornerstone coordinates the motivation and education of congregational members to consider the church in their estate plans. We offer group and personal contact as well as leader education in implementing a planned giving emphasis among members.

Excel In the Grace of Giving

The emphasis of this program is primarily for growth of the disciple. It is a unique blend of seminars, workshops and Bible studies challenging and equipping leaders in the grace of giving. Leaders in turn teach other members to focus on the gospel, the power of God, which creates the capability and desire to give generously. The final outcome is a congregation that reflects on the reason why our gracious God desires his people to give generously.
