Our mission: Raising dollars for Lutheran ministries by growing God's joyful stewards.
Our firm's name is taken from Ephesians 2:20, where Jesus is called the "chief cornerstone." The cornerstone of a building determines the design and orientation of the entire building process. It is the most significant stone, a tested stone at the corner. Jesus is the foundation of all our earthly decisions, and he guides our planning for ministries and programs.
Cornerstone will provide your ministry with Christian based planning principles, experience and knowledge, committed teamwork, and service for the kingdom. Long-term success in any endeavor requires more than just talent or a good idea. It requires strenuous effort, wise planning, strategic partnerships, Christian courage, and integrity. Cornerstone is committed to excellence in all these areas.
In all of our programs we promote and use a 2000-year-old-God-given technique: God's people respond when they have contact with the Gospel.
That Gospel is the heart and center of all programs offered by Cornerstone. Since Jesus is our focus, we begin and end with him. This creates a distinct "s†ewardship" attitude as opposed to the more traditional "$teward$hip." For all our success, we give him glory.
Regardless of whether you are a congregation, school, or Christian organization, our consultants are involved in every step of the process. They give personal instruction and help to motivate members of your organization in each program activity. These benefits range from training volunteers to designing personal bible studies specifically for leaders and members of the organization, to actually mentoring your staff and volunteers on one-on-one visitation.
