Fund Development

The fundamental purpose of all special stewardship appeals is to strengthen the shared mission of the organization with the community.

We do this by lifting Christ to his proper role as Savior and King. We also do this by informing, inspiring and inviting our role as stewards of God's great blessings to invest in the mission of the organization.

Annual Fund Appeals
In today's society, more and more organizations are relying on the annual fund to generate a greater percentage of their overall income. This means a more centrally focused appeal for individual members and constituency. Cornerstone's approach to the annual fund is Gospel based. We understand that members grow in their understanding and participation of offerings when the Gospel is shared, heart by heart.

Capital Campaign
Cornerstone offers gospel based, biblically grounded stewardship appeals reflecting and emphasizing the joy of Jesus in all its programs. We believe stewardship appeals are about raising hearts first, positive results always follow. Understanding that needs and conditions are unique, Cornerstone offers three types of capital campaigns. Each campaign is carefully crafted to fit the culture and special emphasis of the organization. As part of the services for each type of campaign, we offer individual and corporate Bible studies and devotions for God's people. A prayer emphasis is encouraged. A special estate planning initiative is offered as part of many strategies.

Crisis Funding
Organizations can find themselves in situations where funds are needed immediately. Cornerstone's trained staff takes the lead or assists leaders in securing gifts from members of your organization. The program is a mission-focused initiative. By implementing this type of funding strategy, it allows the organization the needed time to develop future proactive ministry plans and not be pressed by the strain of money.

Endowment and Estate Planning Campaigns
Christian ministries are in a critical period of time to secure funds originating from accumulated assets. Within the next two decades millions of dollars will be transferred from one generation to the next. Cornerstone is willing to assist ministries in helping to form a link between donors and the organization. Our staff also offers education for leaders on charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and wealth replacement trusts.
