Free Seminar for "Excel" Program
Excel in the Grace of Giving – a fresh way to view giving in troubled times. The biblical focus of Excel is this: God’s grace turns our giving into an investment, an investment that provides returns for eternity. It is a message which deepens the joy of giving, overcomes doubts and insecurity, and increases our generosity.
We believe that God’s Word works! We rely on God’s Word to confirm and strengthen the Christian’s desire to give and capability to give. We witness that Word at work - in good times and challenging times. Excel in the Grace of Giving is a biblical stewardship emphasis.
It’s always important that
- - We acknowledge that our members are also experiencing tough times
- - We be a “share the promises of God” and “share the vision” congregation – not a “meet the budget” congregation
- - We remember our members are still motivated to give in support of Jesus’ saving mission, and
- as leaders in God’s church we commit to help and strengthen them through God’s Word
A keystone of Excel is a three hour seminar for core members of the congregation. To give you a true sense of what Excel is all about we will present this seminar to your church council, stewardship/discipleship committee and their spouses free of charge! All we ask is that you commit to have at least 5% of your confirmed members attend. Requests for seminars will be honored in the order they are received.
